Because He Lives, We Can Also Live:

Written By: Nathan Bonilla

“And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you, then he who raised Christ from the dead will also bring your mortal bodies to life through his Spirit who lives in you.” (Romans 8:11 CSB)

Sometimes we feel the weight of the cares of life come upon us like never before. That weight in many occasions leaves us feeling alone, depressed and sad. Those emotions are normal in the life of an individual because we will all face it one day.

But the difference is that you and I have hope. That hope comes from the Lord. You see, on the day Christ gave his life for us on that cross he took all the weight and cares that you and I would one -day face. But the beautiful thing of all this, is that Christ took that weight and through it gave us hope on the third day when he resurrected from the dead.

Christ’s resurrection was and continues to be a hope of faith for you and I. So, next time we feel the weight of what is going on in your life, you can be assured that that whatever it is, Christ has taken it to the cross and given you hope through his resurrection.

My Prayer is:

Lord, I know I may be feeling the weight of life today, and maybe I will go through hard times in the future. But Lord, let me remember what you did on Calvary and how you resurrected the third day to give me hope forever more. Amen.
