Mark 10:27 KJV
“And Jesus looking upon them saith, with men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.”
This is the verse that I find encouragement in this week.
It’s a humbling experience to realize that the most powerful being in the universe cares so much about little me that He is willing to move mountains to make the impossible possible. Am I right?
We have done nothing to earn this right. None of us can say that because our works, we deserve His love and mercy. Because grace is not earned…it’s purely a gift from our God. A gift.
This also reminds me that I don’t need to rely on the ways of man to solve my problems. I keep catching myself getting frustrated that a situation isn’t resolving itself only to realize that I’m relying on my own efforts or the efforts of others. How often do we find ourselves struggling against a brick wall growing more weary by the moment?
If only we would realize that through God alone all things are possible we could save ourselves so much pain and stress. When will we begin to rely on God by instinct and not by our feeling we are out of options?
